Following the huge success of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign helped in no small part by his use of Social Media it was only a matter of time before Irish politicians followed suit.<\/p>\n

I received this email yesterday.<\/p>\n

The next Obama?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It seems the Greens have really embraced Social Networking as a way of harvesting votes.<\/p>\n

And they are coming at it from all angles with a Viral Video Competition<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Well I suppose it’s more environmentally friendly than printing off thousands of flyers.<\/p>\n

Are there laws against polluting cyberspace?<\/p>\n

I haven’t seen any on Twitter<\/a> yet. So shhhhh, don’t tell them about it.<\/p>\n

Anyone else with similar emails from social politicians?<\/p>\n
