Energy Communities Tipperary Cooperative is a community led, One Stop Shop, home insulation upgrade and retrofitting organisation whose aims are to:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Improve householders living conditions i.e. warmer, more efficient houses, alleviate fuel poverty; Save money \u2013 through awareness of household energy efficiency; Create jobs in the local communities and reduce carbon footprint.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a>At the same time I also began working with Community Power, Ireland’s first community owned electricity supplier<\/strong>. Community Power is a partnership of community energy groups working for a sustainable energy future for Ireland.\u00a0 It grew out of Ireland\u2019s first community owned wind farm, Templederry Wind Farm in Co Tipperary, and is now working with Irish communities to develop more renewable energy projects owned by people!
